I recently read an outstanding and ridiculously in depth look at Twitter by author Orian Marx, who is the founder of Siftee, a Twitter management company for professionals and networks. The article is long and quite extensive, but there are several noteworthy pieces of information and opinions that come out of it. New Twitter Tool Helps Reduce White Noise
Here’s an interesting new Twitter tool called Shuu.sh which helps you sift out the good and bad tweeters that you follow. Each of your followers gets graded on a 1-11 scale based on the frequency of tweets (11 being most frequent). As the website states, “It aims to amplify the people that don’t usually get heard, and scale back those with frequent updates.”
